rolling at 10pm... a bit late coz i was in the cinema when hafiz text ajak kayuh at 9pm. When i called, zul tak dtg lagi. So i join the ride. It was rainig, renyai. Tp best. Terserempak with hazique at KLCC... hahaha

Did the 'Putera Umno' Jump at North Pole?

the answer is yes. I know many people said they did not, but hey i'm the one who holds the GPS (global positioning system). We landed using the helicopter at 90 degree.

Why the news didnt show the picture of parachute on the day we jump?

i also don't have the answer, but TV3 provide the video that you can watch from Majalah 3 and MHI

The trip was using the RAKYAT's money?

I think u should do your research. Its the Mamak's money. And still that guy owes my KL Skydiving RM50,000.

Why did i join the expedition?

Hey, if someone invite you to go on a trip to north pole, would you say 'NO'? And the trip is paid for and you eventually can skydive in north pole which i had dream before.

Haziq eyes the North Pole

SEGAMAT: Young Haziq Azlan has recorded more than 400 parachute jumps since taking up the sport four years ago.
The 19-year-old student, who has taken part in parachuting events in many places, including Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2004, is setting his sights now on the North Pole.
He will be leading a group of young men intent on making a 1,000m jump from a plane at the North Pole in April.
Thirty-five young parachutists, aged 18 to 27, have started their training at the Segamat Country Club here for the jump, organised by Putera Umno.

Haziq said his father, Azlan Ismail, 53, an experienced parachutist, had taught him all the necessary skills.
“I hope to help the Putera Umno group parachute onto the North Pole,” he said when interviewed at the camp yesterday.
Asked if he ever felt afraid, he said: “I am always afraid when I leave a plane to make a jump. I pray to God for protection.”
He added that he could not predict the weather and the course of the wind during a jump.
For student Mohd Subri Abdul Karim, 19, from Sandakan, Sabah, it would be a new and challenging experience to jump onto the North Pole.
“I’m always scared in an airplane and jumping from one at more than 1,000m in the sky will be scary. But I want to do it,” said Mohd Subri, who is studying in Kajang.
Speaking to reporters, Putera Umno chief Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim said the 35 trainees would be given the necessary skills related to parachuting before they leave for the expedition on April 4.
He said the chosen ones would be making the jump onto the North Pole on either April 19 or 20.
“The trainees would first learn to develop self-discipline and physical strength to enable them to become parachutists,” Abdul Azeez said, adding that they would come under the guidance of Malaysian Sports Aviation Federation vice-president Datuk Abdul Rahim Dahlan, who is also an avid parachutist.
Abdul Azeez said the expedition builds on the success of Malaysians who had made solo sailing trips around the world, conquered Mount Everest and swam across the English Channel.

PL3A Class Party!!! 11 Oct 08

So, everyone was told to be at Wani's house by 2pm and 5 pm. Saya bangun lewat, itupun apabila terperanjat dengan berita yang dibawa oleh Nur Ain selaku class-rep memberitahu iwan dan omaq accident, namun mereka ok. Jadi saya ditugaskan untuk mengambil satu buah kereta sewa. Saya pun bersungguh-sungguh siapkan diri dan mengajak Que keluar dengan segera. Pada ketika itu jam menunjukkan 2ptg. Jadi kami pun pergilah ke Gemilang 30 dengan harapan, malang sekali sebuah kancil pun tiada, terpaksa kami menunggu 2 jam, akhirnya kereta kancil KBG muncul menyelamatkan keadaan. Perut berbunyi menandakan kelaparan, kami tanpa was-was terus menuju ke KFC untuk mendapatkan bekalan makanan (zinger). Sewaktu di KFC, telefon bimbitku tidak henti-henti berdering kerana rakan2 yang lain yang bersepah disekitar sg. petani perlu dijemput untuk hadir ke rumah wani. After having my burger, i went straight to wani's resident. The girls busy with their cooking while maself perlu menghidupkan api untuk BBQ set. Pun bakarlah arang, namun konflik timbul apabila adik wani membakar arang terlalu banyak sehinggakan api marak tanpa kawalan, beberapa ketul ayam rentung begitu juga dengan majoriti 'hot dog'. Saya terpaksa mengalah, namun saya berjaya mengawal keadaan. Hahahahha. Selepas maghrib, semua masih sibuk dengan persiapan. Selepas isya, majlis pun dimulakan, dimulakan dengan bacaan doa oleh iwan, diikuti dengan ucapan ex-class rep, ong dan selaku class rep, Ain. Saya juga memberi ucapan ringkas dan memberikan Ain sebotol air ala-ala beer untuk merasmikan majlis, namun tak jadi, nasib baik ada spare dan Que dengan Honornya berjaya membuka botol tersebut. Setelah itu, semua pun makan. Makan makan makan. Sambil makan, ada pertunjukan muzik dari Farid Kun, Que dan Wan Arep, semuapun layan, dengan lagu separuh jalan kerana lupa lirik. Setelah kekenyangan, ada yang sibuk berborak, ada yang sambung makan. Makan makan makan. Bila sampai jam 10.30, waktu untuk mengemas rumah, semua memainkan peranan masing2. Sebelum balik, jam 11 malam, saya memanggil semua untuk ucapan penutuk dan discuss untuk trip balik ke UiTM. 3 buah kancil dipandu oleh saya sendiri, Alan dan atirah dan kami konvoi ke UiTM. Trip kedua hanya 2 kereta iaitu saya dan Alan. Semuanya selesai jam 12.30 malam. Perut kenyang dan semua pun happy!

10 oct 2008... busy day man!!

So, my class, PL3A was planning to organise a class party and jamuan aidilfitri on 11OCT08 and wani's resident. So, morning of 10OCT, myself, farid afwan, husna, wani & sara aisya went to buy all the stuff for the party. We went to Giant, Tesco, Central Square and Econsave! 7 ekor ayam telah dibeli at Tesco. Bout 3pm, we went to wani's house, basuh ayam, and merinate the ayam. Kiteorang agak kene rush sebab ada Pre Law Annual Dinner. Then balik campus, damn tired. After that, i went for the dinner at 'Cinta Sayang Resort'. Best!! The event was fun. Marsalee menang telefon bimbit for lucky draw. Yg paling best PL3A adalah kumpulan paling bising... memang kami 'ROCK' dan mendapat semua perhatian hadirin yang hadir. This is because our class ramai dapat Dean's List... FULAMAK!!! Bangga Bangga. Bila photo session, kami juga yg paling bising... hahahahaha. The photo will be uploaded A.S.A.P. Check it out ok! woooohooo

Ismail's Aidilfitri Gathering

As always, the Ismail's family will hold a family gathering every Aidilfitri. This year, my family is the host for the event. Hahahaha, banyak kerja kene buat, but still it worth it. All the relatives start arriving by 3pm. My parents and i had prepared the house since morning. Before that, i went to JPJ to renew my driving licence. SEBULAN dah MAMPOS. Lucky angah call tanya lesen. Kalau tak buta je kene saman. Back to the topic, after Jumaat prayer, we took all the necessary things eg. tables, chairs, glasses etc. By 5pm, start bakar arang. Susah la jugak nak hidupkan api. By the time the API menyala, it already Maghrib. Then i went for my prayer, and Ajmal arrived. Ada la member, if not terpaksa lepak dengan kanak2 sekolah. DAAAAA. Then, its makan time. BBQ style. Mak punye daging 'WORLD'. Then, after the makan-makan, we had this family meeting. 1st is about along amir, every year nama dia naik. DAAAAA. Then its about Gem's wedding... i don't care less. Then Uncle Karim baca doa kesyukuran, n sedekah al-fatihah to all family members who had passed away (Atok, Wan, and few others.) After that, around 11, people start going back, and i along with uncle salim and redza kemas-kemas. Thanks a lot to them. So i have some pictures that i would like to share for this raya.
